Over the last week we at Desert Cities Home have 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐝.

We have sought out resources, spoke with others, listened to many different voices, and continuously chose to 𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞 ourselves.

We have paid attention to our 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 members; their hopes, their dreams, their reality, their suffering, and their pain.

Our plan is to 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 and be present to humanity in a continuously evolving way.

As we begin to get back to our new normal, we will always seek to 𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞 ourselves over being silent, 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧 with the intention to understand not to respond, put 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 and unity at the center of our work, and 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 all those we come into contact with.
